Valentine's Day Gift Guide: 20 Gift Ideas for Your Gal
Are you stumped and don't know what to get that wonderful woman in your life this Valentine's Day, besides the usual flowers and chocolates? While there is absolutely nothing wrong with going with a tried and true classic, especially if it involves chocolate. We have some ideas for you if you want to get something different and extra special to really wow your love this year.
Customized jewelry. You can't go wrong with jewelry and you don't have to go super big when it comes to gifting bling to your sweetheart, there are lots of one-of-a-kind options out there that are beautiful, heart felt and even fashion forward without costing you a fortune. For example, personalized necklaces, gemstone necklaces or earrings or bracelets from local artisans.
A Good Read. There is nothing better than sitting down with a good book and there is something very intimate about your partner or husband getting you a book you've always wanted to read or didn't know you wanted to read until you were gifted it. You can't go wrong with anything by Brené Brown. Untamed by Glennon Doyle is also a great book for women. It's just been released and highly popular.
Cozy Comforts. The cliche around Valentine's Day is to get your love, some lingerie. We are not knocking it. It's a great way to go and set the mood, but do not discount the cozier options, such as a nice set of satin pajamas or some fluffy slippers. With lockdowns and stay at home orders and the cold winter weather comforts such as these are invaluable.
Spa Treatment. The spa is a great place to relax and unwind. Any other year we might suggest a gift certificate for a spa treatment such as a mani/pedi, massage or facial. This year, it's not such a good idea to send your sweetie to a spa. But you can, bring the spa to her, with hand made spa kits, beautiful diffusers for the home and some amazing smelling essential oils. Next year get her the gift certificate.
Pieces for the Home. Help her spruce up a space with some beautiful pieces you picked out that made you think of her. Perhaps a sign with a romantic quote or saying on it, some beautiful book ends you thought could hold up those new books you bought her, or a long and dreamy macrame piece to add some texture and on trend decor to the living room. The key to this gift idea is to pay attention to her style and design sense and add something that suits the theme of a room.
Something Practical. Women need practical pieces just as much as men do. You guys aren't the only ones who love a nice, new, cozy pair of socks as a gift. Gift her something of quality that she uses everyday such as a handmade, ceramic mug, a mug that says, 'I love you', a nice tote bag (bonus if you fill it with chocolates and smaller gifts), a wallet (which you can put a gift certificate in), or some fun themed masks she can use as she goes out and braves the grocery store traffic. A gorgeous, leather bound or suede journal is also a wonderful gift for your love and to make it that much more personal, write something thoughtful in it for her.

Remember the most important part of Valentine's Day is spending it with the personal you love. Don't sweat the gift so much as the love part. Plan a nice dinner just the two of you. If it's at home this year that doesn't matter. The best gift you can give her is your time, attention, love and affection.
Happy Valentine's Day, loves.
