Summer is almost here but the hot weather showed up early! After a long, long winter and a blip of springtime, it's time to start strutting our stuff in some cool, fun, flirty, summer fashion trends.

Linens

Linens are big this summer. Think flowy pants, matching short sets, oversized linen shirts, gauzy dresses and more. Pair linen pants with a classic rib knit tank, a flowy shirt and some double-strapped sandals. Linen pieces in classic colours create this upscale, luxury look for hot summer days.

There are lots of shoptions out there to achieve a gorgeous linen look. Most stores have linen blend pants, skirts, dresses, shirts and shorts, but here are a few of my fav finds.

Eyelets are a fun little trend that adds flirty and feminine to the outfit rotation in summer. A great way we can add this trend to our wardrobe is by getting a nice dress or a sweet top with some eyelet details. Here are some of my fav options.

Bright and Fun Colours

Big, bold, bright colours are a great and fun trend this year. We can incorporate some beautiful sunset oranges, bright megentas and neon yellows in a variety of pieces and styles. Crochets

Circa the late '90s this trend is a boho goddesses favourite. It's fun and feminine trend that is great for a hot, summer day. Add a crochet piece to a full-length dress or a maxi skirt and your wardrobe will be on trendy and ready for summer 2023. A crochet piece can, also, work as a fashionable cover-up for your favourite swimsuit, and a crochet bag can be the perfect beach accessorie. Add a corchet sweater, crop top or a beautiful pair of sandals and you got a touch of trendy fun that can elevate any outfit.

Wide Leg Crop Jeans and Pants

This trend is a comfy, flowy, fun addition to add to your wardrobe. Sandals

Sandal trends are just as fun and flirty as clothing trends. This summer we can carry over the metallic trend from spring into footwear, with a good pair of strappy sandals in silver or gold. Also, the sandals of the season are a leather wide strap, thong heel and fisherman sandals. We can really have some fun with these sandal trends. So, if we add a metallic pair, a simple brown leather pair, and some coloured kitten thong heels to the wardrobe we are set.

Swimwear

A good one-piece swimsuit will go a long way in a summer wardrobe. It's a great solution for moms worried about revealing any postpartum tummy or who have to chase after little ones. It is also a great way to achieve that flawless, luxurious look that is on trend right now. Pair your one-piece swimsuit with linen pants or shorts and a shirt with some classically simple sandals to create a look that is effortlessly classy.
