20 Elegant and Simple Holiday Mantel Ideas for 2021

There is nothing better than sitting by a warm cozy fireplace at Christmas time, bonus if that fireplace is adorned with lovely festive holiday decor.

This year try the elegant and simple look for your fireplace mantel decor. The key to this trend is all about embracing the minimalist look and keeping to a simple colour pallet. The classic one is an all white colour pallet with a touch of greenery. Simple, yet elegant garland, is your show stopper and focal point. Use a Christmas green such as, cedar, eucalyptus, spruce or fir. Add a few smaller Christmas trees, pillar candles or well placed ornaments on either side of a large, beautiful mirror or holiday sign. Lastly, some stockings, hung with care, of course, to complete the look. It's an easy way to can create a contemporary, elegant Christmas look to dress up those burning yule logs.
